A complete appeal pack, as we send it.
Northside Plumbing LLC does not exist. Every real pack is written only from the owner's own documents and facts. Use this one as a guide if you would rather write your own: the appeal form is free at Google's help centre.
1. The appeal statement
Pasted into the "Appeal" form, or into the reply to the denial email. Under 250 words; no pleading; every claim points at a document.
Northside Plumbing LLC is a licensed service-area plumbing business operating from 418 Elm Street, Austin, TX 78701, since 2014. Texas plumbing licence M-40211 is held in the business name. We serve homes in Travis County and do not take customers at the address.
The profile was suspended on 2 June 2026, the day after we moved the website to northsideplumbing.com. At that time three things on the profile did not match the business, and all three are now fixed:
1. The profile still showed the old domain (northsideplumbingatx.net). It now shows northsideplumbing.com, whose footer carries the same name, address and phone number (512-555-0142) as the profile.
2. The street address was visible to customers although we are a service-area business. The address is now hidden and the service area is set to Travis County.
3. A second category, "Water damage restoration", had been added by a marketing company we no longer use. "Plumber" is now the only category, and that company's access has been removed.
Attached: (a) TSBPE licence M-40211 in the business name; (b) the June 2026 Austin Energy bill for 418 Elm Street in the business name; (c) a photo of our van showing the business name and phone; (d) a screenshot of the website footer. The name, address and phone are identical on all four and on the profile. Please review the profile again.
2. The fix list
Done before the appeal is sent. Appeals sent with the profile still wrong are the ones that come back denied.
| Field | Was | Must be |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Northside Plumbing – Austin's #1 Plumber | Northside Plumbing LLC (the legal or trading name only; no slogans, towns or keywords) |
| Address shown | Visible | Hidden (service-area business); service area = Travis County |
| Website | northsideplumbingatx.net (old) | northsideplumbing.com, with name, address and phone in the footer |
| Phone | Tracking number from the marketing company | 512-555-0142, the number on the licence, the website and the van |
| Categories | Plumber; Water damage restoration | Plumber only |
| Hours | Open 24 hours | Real hours (7:00–18:00 Mon–Sat); 24-hour emergency line in the description, not the hours |
| Managers | Former marketing company still had access | Removed |
3. The evidence checklist
Matched to the reason (website change plus a service-area address showing) and the type (service-area business). Every file must show the same name and address as the profile.
| Document | What it must show | Why Google wants it |
|---|---|---|
| State or city business licence / registration | Business name, address | The business is real and operates under this name |
| Utility bill, last 3 months | Business name, the profile address | The business really operates from the address, even if hidden |
| Vehicle photo | Business name and phone on the van | Service-area businesses have no storefront; the van is the storefront |
| Website screenshot | Footer with name, address, phone | The profile's website belongs to this business |
| Trade licence (if any) | Licence number, business name | Extra proof for licensed trades (plumbing, electrical, locksmith, HVAC) |
Not useful: tax returns, bank statements, invoices to customers, personal ID. Send only what proves name and address.
4. Three things not to do
Do not create a new profile. A second profile for the same business is itself a reason for suspension, and the reviews on the old one are lost.
Do not appeal again with nothing changed. Each denied appeal with the same mismatches makes the next one harder. Fix first, then appeal once, properly.
Do not send documents that do not match. A licence in your personal name and a bill at your home address raise more questions than they answer. If a document cannot match, say why in the statement.
5. If it is denied again
Reply to the denial email (do not open a new appeal). Quote the reason given, state exactly what was changed since the last appeal, and attach only the documents that answer that reason. One round of changes to the statement is included in every pack.
Labelled sample. Google decides; the appeal form is free; nothing is guaranteed. We never log in to your account, never make or alter documents, and this is writing help, not legal advice. GBP Appeal is not affiliated with Google.
